This model was made in 1998 out of rare (laminated I think) Brazilian Rosewood, with a high quality solid Spruce top. Terrific inlay work all over this guitar.
In really beautiful order. No scratches, dings, etc. So, this is really something of a bargain price !!
Also included in the price is a black leather (K Yairi) guitar strap (used).
The original hard case it came in was slightly damaged (it was not a K Yairi brand), so I replaced it (Ashton brand).
I can arrange freight to you which is cheap and reliable (via Pack & Send).

During the 1970s, the YW series was Yairi’s predominant steel string
guitar line. All of the guitars in the YW series
are copies of Martin guitars. This was the period of the Japanese lawsuit guitar – when Japanese
guitar makers were producing excellent copies of American made
acoustics – many of which were far better than the original Martin,
Guild or Gibson. The YW line helped to propel Yairi into the
limelight as a top quality steel string guitar maker. The YW1000 is a great guitar and originally sold in Japan.

It’s a copy of either a Martin D41 or a D45 (I think that it’s
a copy of a D41).
